I read all the reviews and ordered a size smaller then I normally wear, (Medium instead of Large) and it fits perfectly, and I do not like my tops to fit tightly' ....This jacket is very well made and the colors & design are just beautiful, it will go with many different tops or dresses. It is well made and the colors are quite nice. I have not washed it yet so I may find the fit improved after washing. February 5, 2016

I bought it on sale, but I was very happy with how beautiful the jacket was, the quality of the material and the quality of the construction of the jacket. This is the first purchase I have made with Norm Thompson, but if this is the usual quality of their products, I will be back. This was a gift and unfortunately NT does not offer my size but I would recommend to anyone. The recipient also loved the jacket and it fit perfectly. January 20, 2016

The jacket is a high density denim (not flimsy) and the embroidery is elegant. The quality is top notch and I have received many compliments. It does run a little big and the sleeves are a little long (tucking them under works just fine). I purchased my jacket on sale but it is definitely worth the regular price. I have to look twice at it when hanging in my closet--it is that gorgeous! November 13, 2015

I haven't washed it yet, so don't know what that outcome will be. It also can be worn during all seasons where I live, and that's another plus. October 6, 2015

Does this jacket have BLACK in the design? I would want to wear black pants with it.

BEST ANSWER: Not in a big way. Some of the fabric prints have some black in them. But it's largely blues and roses/reds.

I'm sure each jacket is a little different. There are strips of fabric sewn onto the denim jacket and these strips have many colors in them. There are strips on my jacket with black fabric in them. I plan to wear the jacket with black pants some days and denim pants on other days.

No, there is no black in the jacket but there is some very dark navy blue in it. I have worn this jacket with black pants and thought it looked good with it (so did my husband). I've always felt that you can wear just about anything with black.

I'm sure there are some black threads. Jacket can be worn with anything.....as denim can. I also picked
up another color with a scarf. I wore it with black. Got many compliments.

Yes, the back looks almost exactly like the front two panels. It is embroidered all over the back. I hope this helps.

What is the body length of this jacket from the back collar seam?

BEST ANSWER: My jacket is a Petite Small and is 21 1/2 inches from the top collar seam to the bottom edge. The regular size small is longer.
