Is there a slightly olive look to the color?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, it is not black and white, but black and olive. I bought it because the jacket is very lightweight and looks great with black pants. It will be perfect in the fall also.

In bright light it looks more tan and black, but in dimmer light there is a green cast. I decided that I could not wear it with olive pants.

I guess if I studied real hard, I could see a tinge of olive, but it is a beige and black jacket===love it.

Description states that jacket has a relaxed fit and a back pleat. Would medium size be too large for size 40 bust?

BEST ANSWER: I am a 36 bust. I bought a medium and it fits perfectly. The jacket is relaxed closer to the hem but is not big through the shoulders and bust. I LOVE this jacket!! Lots of compliments.
