The embroidery is interesting and colorful, but not overdone. I had to return it for a larger size, but the second one is perfect. Maybe I just wanted a looser fit. October 21, 2015

Colors are beautiful, but more red than my liking. (Red, which appears purple in photo on my PC, is on the collar, down the front & along bottom edge.) I am 5' tall 135 lbs and often order petite sizes for sleeve length. I gambled and ordered size PM. The sleeves were too short for a jacket (perfect if a shirt) and the overall length was shorter than expected. No pockets. Denim is lightweight. September 22, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5�by Grammaria Gorgeous and unique jacket! I was able to order this jacket with special pricing, but it is still worth the price. The embroidery all over the jacket's body and sleeves is amazing; a mix of lilac, lime, and turquoise. But the collar, hem, and button placket have red, gold, and green in a separate kind of embroidery. Altogether, it is a standout wardrobe piece. I have never worn it without getting compliments or comments. Also, the jacket has a bit of a princess shape, so it is not just boxy. Note: the description says that there are chest pockets. I didn't see any in the picture, and there are none. Much better without them, or they would have added too much more "busy-ness". I can't say enough good things about this jacket- you can dress it up or down, and wear it for all kinds of occasions. September 15, 2015

Does this jacket have side slash pockets?

BEST ANSWER: No, the jacket has no pockets, not even the flapped chest pockets included in the description. Looks much better without those, anyway.

I am a 14-16. But the L is very tight when I button it. I highly recommend going to XL. I am in the process of losing weight, and assuming I can keep off most of it, I will keep the jacket anyway.
