Rated 5 out of 5�by GracieAZ Attractive, Comfortable and Very nice height shoe I reviewed all reviews by purchasers prior to my purchase of this shoe, paying particular attention to sizing. As recommended by Norm Thompson catalog and the reviews of other purchasers, I ordered a half size up, 38 (7 1/2 - 8). Unfortunately the 7 1/2 size was a bit large., however, the heel height is perfect I can still wear them with thick socks or footed leggings which is not a problem during the winter months as this is when I intend to wear them (Fall / Winter) anyway. So it worked out for the best. I bought the black pair and they look great with leggings, jeans, cable knit stockings and a cute skirt and leather jacket. So they are very trendy and will add to your wardrobe selection. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the shoes felt; the padding is cushy and the material wraps snugly to your foot shape. The unique stretchy material of this shoe is what I appreciate the most. I may order a grey pair in a smaller size at another time and wear them sockless as the weather warms up. I also receive compliments on these shoes when I wear them as other reviewers have reported. November 23, 2015

I'm totally confused... Your description says to order up one size. The review says ankle boot runs true to size. Which is it?

BEST ANSWER: Shoe sizes are in different categories. There are sizes from UK and US sizes. I feel the US sizes range from whole sizes 6-11 and half sizes range from 6.5 to 11.5.

The shoes are fabulous but they do run a size smaller. I would purchase 1 size larger to get the right fit.

If you click size guide it gives you the sizes Americans are used to. Hope this helps.
