I was pleasantly surprised by the nice quality of the soft wool and the style. The faux fur edged hood is also black and gives the coat a dressy look. The size large was cut generously so a heavy sweater can be worn under it. The description of the toggles was off. They are silver on the black coat (not gold). This medium weight coat was a good value at a great winter discount. Thanks Norm Thompson! February 10, 2016

Rated 3 out of 5�by Jim64 Shipping Costs Too High I bought this coat as a Christmas present for my wife. It was too loose fitting for her likes. It was a nice coat. I ended up returning it and spent a lot of money on shipping. I would have exchanged it for another coat but I would have had to pay even more shipping for the new coat. I do not recommend buying any clothing from Norm Thompson unless you are sure you will like the garment and you are sure it will fit. January 18, 2016

But the sleeves were not cut in a flattering manner and dipped in on both sides just below the shoulders. Sadly I returned it. The material is so soft and yet so warm. The hood just adds to the warmth and beauty of the coat. I can already tell that this coat is going to be my "go to" coat during the cold winters here in Colorado. Love it! November 21, 2015

I only hope it gets cold enough here in NC so that I can wear it---it is 100% wool! I love the color (vicuna)nand the faux fur around the edge of the hood. It is a very fine coat. November 21, 2015
