Rated 4 out of 5�by BF101 not too sweet Was afraid this might be excessively sweet, but it wasn't. It is extremely soft and really can't be cut into chunks easily. I didn't think it had a lot of flavor, but my husband was a fan, thus the 4 stars. Was OK at the sale price, but definitely wouldn't pay full price. March 15, 2016

Well, it IS made by a holy order of monks ;-) ... And honestly, the whole box was just as good as the first piece. But that first sensation of biting into this wonderful confection was breathtaking. I have never had any fudge, chocolate or brown sugar, homemade or factory built, that can compare to the creaminess of this candy made by Brigittine monks. And the creaminess lasts until the last piece in the box! It never turns sugary! Almost all fudge gets just a little bit sugary after cooling. It just does! Not this fudge though. This was not just eating. It was not just a little something sweet. This was an experience not to be missed! February 11, 2016

Rated 1 out of 5�by amethyst2 poor quality fudge at best I was curious what penuche tasted like so I bought this based solely on the description. What a mistake that was! This fudge tasted like hardened maple syrup. It was terribly sweet and had not much else going for it. The picture shows nuts in the fudge but mine had almost none, just a few tiny fragments here and there. This was an overall disappointment that most definitely was not worth the price.
