My wife like the set so much she tells me to wear it instead of my normal jeans. BTW, the cable fleece polo goes great with jeans as well. February 14, 2016

The all-elastic waist is easy and comfortable; the cargo pockets are easy -to -reach and secure for wallet, keys, etc. The navy and charcoal look quite presentable, with a NT Shikari shirt (banded waist), for most occasions. They hold up very well in repeated washing. Just wish that NT would have the exact same size/style pant in a "summer" fabric (it's HOT here). Their other summer elastic waist pants run too small for him, and lack cargo pockets. May 30, 2015

Do they have zipper pockets?

BEST ANSWER: No zippers; the design is similar to cargo pants, each pocket located on the legs have flaps. The pants were great for my housebound husband, warm for winter wear and comfortably soft.

Does this have a functional fly with metal zipper ?

BEST ANSWER: No, they have a full elastic waist with a draw cord for good fit. My husband likes them for travel, etc. He says they are very comfortable.

Will the pant shrink when washed in hot water and dried in hot dryer? Recipient lives in nursing home and only way to launder clothes.

BEST ANSWER: We wash and dry the pants in warm to hot water and dryer. They have not shrunk and have stayed in good condition for more than a year. They are my husband's favorite pants for comfort.

They do shrink but just a little. My husband is disabled and in a wheelchair. These are the only pants he wears. They stand up to lots of abuse and multiple washings.

BEST ANSWER: Not quite sure what your question is since it appears to have been truncated, but if the question concerns shortening in the wash, I've had mixed experiences. I have 2 pair. One shrunk an inch or so and one did not shrink.

Hope this helps. I've been away for a while and am just now returning.

My husband had a back operation and bought these to wear over the back brace so it was hard to tell exactly how they fit but I didn't notice any shrinkage after they were washed.

how long are the pants?

BEST ANSWER: We bought 2 pairs (at different times) for my husband. In slacks he buys a 32" inseam. One pair of these knit pants was a very good length, the other was an inch shorter but still long enough for the gym or around the house.

If I remember correctly, the pants were too long and I had them shortened by a tailor. I have a 31" in seam so I generally do this with all the pants I buy.
