Rather than a mock neck it is a t-shirt neck. the originals were classy and appropriate to wear with a sport jacket. The tags on the back of the neck are irritating. I have purchased these shirts for my husband and son for several years. However, I will not purchase anymore unless you indicate you have made the necessary improvements. January 9, 2016

Rated 1 out of 5�by Mrvivid A definite drop in quality. I have three dozen N.T. mock turtle neck sweaters, acquired over the last several years. They are all of good quality and construction (which is why I have three dozen of them!). Recently, I ordered two mock turtle necks and was VERY disappointed. The fabric is much thinner and sleazier than previously -- it feels cheap and is easy to see through. It's so thin that I'm guessing that the sweater will not hold its shape. The Mock turtle neck is NOT a mock turtle neck at all -- it's a crew neck -- a very different, and to me, unacceptable, look. Altogether, it seems to me that quality and style have been severely compromised. If you're looking for an inexpensive looking crew neck sweater to layer under another type of shirt, then this will work. Otherwise, don't bother with it. June 10, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5�by Gibbles64 This sweater is lightweight and very comfortable. I am really please with this sweater. My husband likes the T-neck rather than a turtle neck, especially for summer. The color on the silver is not really silver, it is a little bit of a purplish color. It does not especially go well with lighter gray, and that is the color I was wanting it to go with. I does blend well with blue and darker gray. It is just wonderful for our hot Texas summers. My husband really likes to wear a sport coat to church or for an evening out, but it's just too hot to wear a tie and long sleeve shirt. This is perfect since it still looks nice if he wants to take his jacket off. Just wish these came in more colors. May 12, 2015

They give a little warmth so they make a good 3 season shirt.I wear them often & the seams seem to be a weak point but overall they look great & feel great. October 30, 2014
