So it is fine that they run a bit big. However, do NOT adjust your size choice because of this. Hope this helps. July 12, 2015

Also more comfortable with the elastic waist. Only problem is it's a very relaxed fit and he is thin so it's pretty baggy but still very practical. July 4, 2015

how long are the pants?

BEST ANSWER: Length 32, my length 31. They fit perfectly for me after using washer and a hot dryer. Also I didn't have them pressed. Draw-string doesn't go all the way around; starts on the sides, going fwd to the opening. In the back is elasticized. This is a much better and thought-out design.

I am a 34-36 length and they are plenty long enough on me. More than a break at the bottom they sort of puddle at the bottom a little not too much.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, 2 side pockets - altho' not very deep - but passable. Also 2 rear pockets, one on each side with a button on top. Also very comfortable.

BEST ANSWER: Can't answer that one reference length alteration. Try their customer service. My length is 31, but the pants' 32 length is perfect,; that's after washer/dryer and not pressing them. With your 30" length, probably need alterations.
