BEST ANSWER: I think they are made in Germany. However, I have had a pair of these exact shoes for over a year and they are one of my favorite shoes for running around doing errands!

Is this shoe for wide feet?

BEST ANSWER: It depends on how wide... There's a little give in the material and in the lace-area; otherwise, I have narrow feet and they're a little wider than my foot, but not by that much. I hope that helps!

how to compare shoe size 7 in American to European size?

BEST ANSWER: I bought the size 38 in hits shoe and I normally wear a size 7M. This shoe was WONDERFUL! a low profile, dressier than a clunky sneaker! These shoes got me through 5 days walking in Rome last May! I would buy another pair in a different color!!! I definitely recommend them!
