Rated 5 out of 5�by Romanesca It was better than I expected after reading review After reading some negative reviews I was afraid I wouldn't like the dress but i do like it. The fabric is only faintly like thermal underwear, as one person said. It could be a more expensive-looking material, but it's OK. The combination of the dress material and the velvet collar makes it a little less dressy than you would expect with the velvet collar. I got the red dress; maybe it looks better than the brownish/purplish one. I got the size I usually wear and it fits. So I am pleased with it. December 17, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5�by StellaLuna Overall I'm pleased I am a mixed size: medium through shoulders, smaller in the chest, larger in the hips. This dress is good for me. The medium is true to size in shoulders and bust, but does run a bit too large in the waist and hips though, fortunately I am handy with a sewing machine and I am going to put a couple of darts in the back. Perhaps the designer could overcome that with an adjustable piece across the back of the waist. I was apprehensive when I read the negative review about the fabric, but I must say I am pleased with the dusty plum color as it has the look of a fine wool without the scratchiness. Rated 3 out of 5�by marie369 I was disappointed that I had to pay return shippi The dress has a nice style which is why I purchased it. The Large size was too big so I returned it for a Medium. The dress now fits except the bust is too tight, an issue I often have to contend with. I will try different bras and/or have the dress altered. However, there really is no extra fabric for such altering, and it also adds to cost of the dress. I consider the price of ~ $139 high for the quality of it (see above - no extra fabric for altering bust), also no lining which I knew, yet still makes the price high for that lack of quality. In any case, I will keep the dress, but probably will not purchase from you again, mostly b/c of the return shipping cost. Sincerely, Marie Judge January 12, 2014

The fabric was soft with a wonderful drape, color of the dress and the trim was beautiful. The sleeves were the perfect length. I wore it to Christmas Mass. The dress will be a staple in my wardrobe, style, fit, and color are wonderful! December 26, 2013
