Rated 3 out of 5�by KWald Unsure of Product 'Breatheability' The jacket fits well, but the material seems a bit stiff to the touch, which makes me wonder how well the fabric will 'breathe' so the wearer will stay comfy in high humidity climates. Time will tell when I wear it in the Australian Outback next year. I like all of the special pockets for my 'stuff'. March 10, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5�by Pianoman41 Great features with Limitations I spilled some coffee on the front of the jacket and, literally, watched it disappear from my eyes. This jacket will be a boon to me inasmuch as I travel in the mountains during the summer, and we are subject to getting sudden rain squalls. One MAJOR DRAWBACK!!! I have long arms (sleeve length 35 1/2") and had to buy an XL in order to accommodate my arms. The jacket is too big, but I had no choice. May 10, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5�by Johann Good but some details Velcro on cuffs very abrasive if left open or not closed all the way - need to reverse hook/loop patches. Irritates wrists and snags on watchbands. XL fits between L and XL so order a size up if unsure. Pockets nice but mobile phone pocket is in the wrong place. Hard to get at in a car etc. (Of course you are a passenger and not driving...) Is this water repellent/water proof?

BEST ANSWER: Water repellent. My son wore this during an Alaskan cruise. It fit the bill with one exception....there was NO stored hood. He missed that and had to buy a cap.

70% Yes. It's 70/30 Nylon/cotton so, it will repell water, but can be over saturated and leak like a tent would. Not a rain coat!!!
