Rated 4 out of 5�by Robin1354 Good looking, decent quality coat, packs nicely This is a very nice coat but fits more snugly than I had hoped based on others saying it runs large. I think it is probably very true to size. My problem is it is the third coat I have purchased form NT. The first two I ordered were PXL because that size usually is roomy enough to be comfortable with a sweater underneath. Both other coats were much roomier than I prefer, but I kept them anyway. So this time I decided to order PL instead, especially since others said it runs large. This time it is too snug for a sweater underneath. Frustrating. April 1, 2015

Is the front placket closed by zipper AND by snaps?

BEST ANSWER: No, only a zipper. The placket is very narrow. Have not worn in the rain, so can't be more helpful about that.

No, it is not. It just has a placket over the zipper. That works well for me.
