Rated 5 out of 5 by Ersie very comfortable
Most comfortable socks my husband has worn in years. They fit true to size and stay in place once you put them on.

I am on my feet for 8 to 12 hours a day and these are the only socks that I will buy for work.

Very comfortable, stay up (over support stockings), minimal unraveling.
I have foot problems that are exasperated by edema, but using extra wide shoes, and thick Norm Thompson socks allows me to hike, bike, and play tennis.

Bought 6 pairs 20 years ago. Now it is time to replace some. Only 4 pair because I'm in my 90th year!

After the second washing, these socks look they are growing a beard-fuzzy fibers blossoming around and above the heel area, visible above shoes.

Have been a fan of Norm Thompson wick-sport socks for many years. This last order is not holding up anything like prior ones. They seem to pill and wear thin on the soles much sooner than expected. They are gently washed in warm water in the washing machine and always dried on a drying rack (no hot dryer used here), but that still doesn't help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bob3719 excellent product
These socks have good weight. I wear 13W shoes, and the XL size socks fit very comfortably. The crew length is a generous crew length rather than a short crew showing leg between the trousers and the top of the socks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by cmwcns Surprised
We have worn nothing but Norm Thompson socks in this household for about 25 years, and feel like they were the best socks on the planet. We recently decided to replace all our socks as they were starting to show some signs of wear after MANY years.
Was surprised and a bit disappointed to find that the new socks have a ton of elastic in them. I suppose some might prefer that, but we liked the older socks much better.
Not a deal breaker, as the foot portion of the sock is still very soft, comfortable, and just the right thickness.
