Women's Faux Silk Raincoat
Exactly what I was looking for
It looks as good as I hoped it would, the color is good with almost everything (dusty purple), the length is long enough to be a functional raincoat, and with the hood up, I can use my arms to carry things other than an umbrella. Great for travel, especially with the zip-out lining. Last weekend I used it with and without the lining (in MA).

Very very pleased
I love this faux silk raincoat. It's very attractive and comfortable. I'm glad I bought it and I think you may be glad too.

The stone color that looked like cream on the computer is actually more like dark beige (not very attractive). I love the raincoat which is very well made and had the color been like on the computer I would have been thrilled, but I don't want to pay the postage to send it back and get another color - so will keep it.

Beautifully made raincoat
This is a beautiful raincoat that can double as a warm coat for cold weather. The cut and styling are top-notch.

Wonderful all-weather coat!
Love this coat! I liked the style so much that I bought it in both red and black. The colors are deep and the coat is very well made. I get compliments every time I wear them (which is often!). I've worn it in very cold weather with a sweater underneath and was comfortable enough without being too warm. I wouldn't want to wear it in extremely cold weather and take a walk but it does keep the chill out for short jaunts. Very pleased with this purchase.

Light and comfy
This coat is long enough to cover long cardigans yet light and comfy. The lining is warm enough for cool days 40-60), but not warm enough to be used as a cold weather jacket. Pair it with a warm sweater to wear it in colder weather. Sizes are big enough to wear a sweater if you order using size chart measurements.

Good all around coat
I bought this to replace another light weight swing coat I'd lost. It has a versatile zip out liner. and packs well. It is a good coat that allows for layers underneath due to the cut of the sleeve. I knew when I purchased it that it was dry clean
only, but thought that maybe it was due to the acrylic zipout liner. (Acrylic is rarely washable) After reading other reviews where folks said they have washed their's, I think I might try removing the liner and washing the coat in a delicate cycle in my front loader (no center agitator to rough up the coat) and hang to dry on a plastic hanger. After all it IS a raincoat.
The pockets are fairly deep but I wish they were sewn in at a steeper angle. I still have a feeling that heavy things could fall out while getting up from a sitting position. I will be making about an 1" long tacking "teather" from the bottom edge of the pocket to the side seam of the coat to help keep it in position and maybe closing the bottom edge of the pocket to make the opening a bit smaller. The coat is well worth it to do these small adjustments.
The black does show lighter dirt/dust quite readily...the silk hand to the fabric isn't so silky as to let dirt easily brush off. Being a city girl we always go for things that don 't pick up the dust of the town readily. I use a damp very rough textured washcloth to brush off any dust/dirt I've picked up on my city commutes and it seems to work. Just wish I had to slick texture of my old silk like coat in combination with the style of this one.My dark dog's hair doesn't show on my coat but one of my friends has a cat and a Lab with light hair that easily clings and is tough to remove.
To those who have said the color isn't true...all computer screens are configured differently (pixels, as well as intensity of the colors) so no color on a screen will represent any fabric precisely. You never see on screen exactly what is in real life unless you have the fabric in hand and tinker with your screen configurations to match the color!

Great Useful Coat
Short raincoat with lining was just what I was
looking for to span the seasons and be a little
dressier than a ski jacket. Hood is a great
extra for the rain - don't need an umbrella in
light rainfalls! Fabric and color (Plum) are
perfect. Very happy with my purchase.
