Women's Quilted Spring Jacket
Just what I needed
This jacket is true to size. It is also a good fit with nice styling. The off-white color is better than stark white and can be worn different seasons.

Although this jacket is light weight, it provides warmth.

I am pleased with my purchase.
I have not yet worn this jacket. I bought it for those cool autumn days and nights and for those cold airline flights. The first one I ordered did not fit. The exchange was very easy. The jacket runs small in the shoulders.

Had to reorder, but that wasn't right either.
normally very comfortable in 2x.. Fit was way off, ridiculously too small, So I sent it back, thinking 3x would be fine.... Not! Much too big! I'm feeling like Goldilocks by now. I had been looking for just that kind of fabric & color, so I drew upon my alteration skills, narrowed the shoulder seam, and (obviously) kept the jacket. But they should really have a talk with that vendor!

Sleeves 3" too long!
I really wanted to like this jacket but am in the process of returning it.
I am 5'5" and normally wear a 10 or 12, but ordered a Large to allow room for a layer underneath, based on other reviews. The jacket was a little loose but OK, but the sleeves were a full 3" too long! Turning the cuffs under would have meant losing the entire cute strap detail. Turning cuffs up looked odd because the lining material at the cuff is not quilted and didn't have a tailored look -- loose and wrinkly. So my "true to size" choice on the Fit slider really reflects that it runs small AND large, smallish in the torso and maybe sleeve width, but too long in sleeve length. The photo on the model doesn't give any indication that sleeves are exceptionally long, so maybe it's the manufacturer's inability to produce a consistent sleeve length.
I debated whether to exchange for a Medium, but thought my chances of getting 3" shorter sleeves were not good. Also, as others have noted, the fabric is a bit stiff, not soft and cozy like puff jackets. The edges of the front opening, collar, and hem are lined with the contrasting color quilted material which is nice, but the torso and sleeves are lined with an unquilted 100% polyester taffeta that is not soft and has no breathability, making it easy to break a sweat and stick to the jacket.
If you have long arms and plan to always wear a wicking layer underneath the jacket, go for it, because it's really cute! Otherwise, I can't recommend it.

nice spring look. But nylon linings are hot
linings are hot and almost sticky on bare arms, don't breath

Everyone compliments me on my jackets. They are stunning. I usually wear a large. I thought I should order an X-large. I received them, loved them, however they run large. I returned them and ordered a Medium and they fit perfectly, just perfect.
I have always liked Norm Thompson items for their quality and still do.

2x too small in arms and around back.
3x too big in arms and around back
Neither size lays flat in the back. Material bunches up.
2x would b perfect if upper arms a little fuller so it can possibly lay flat besides get my arms in.
Worth trying. I love the jacket. So disappointed.
