Women's Short-Sleeved Calida Print Gown
The features are really great
I'm 70 years old and this is the most comfortable night gown I have ever owned. The softness makes me want to never take it off. The deep arm holes, neck line and fabric are absolutely fantastic. Although a little pricey, it is well worth it. Your know the old saying "you get what you pay for" is absolutely true with this night gown. I plan to order another one as soon as I can.

My first Calida
This garment is just perfect. It is the softest prettiest gown I own. I had waited for a cheaper price. So when this was marked down I decided to give it a try. I love it and will stick with Calida henceforth..

The gown is very nicely made. Material is exceptional, comfortable, & I'm looking forward to wearing it more as Fall approaches. Texas Summers are hot, so would have to turn the a/c lower to wear it now. Really a beautiful gown; glad I ordere it!.

A wonderful soft cotton gown that lasts and lasts. Very comfortable for warm weather sleeping.

I love the Calida gowns and have worn them for years. I read another review on here that said the fabric was strangely different and itchy to wear. I got one anyway and held my breath. Don't know if it had just been a bad batch or if the pattern I picked had the same old quality ~ but the bottom line is that the quality is lovely and there was no disappointment at all. These Calida gowns run very generous ~ so order appropriately (I'm usually a size 8 or 10 ~ and I always get small in Calida.) Great sleeve length, great nightie length, great fabric. Gotta love these!

I am writing only about the two latest prints in the Calida nightgowns: Seaspray and Soft Lilac.
I have about 16 short and long sleeve Calida nightgowns. I love their design, their fit, and especially their softness. I think they actually help me get a good night's sleep as they feel so soft against my skin. For years I would not have worn any other brand. Until now. I bought these two new prints, and the prints are wonderful. I couldn't wait to wear them. What a shock to discover that although the design and fit are the same, the fabric is a new fabric that is not at all soft. It is rough. It feels like any cheap nightgown you might purchase somewhere else. Last night the fabric bothered me so much (after 4 washings with plenty of fabric softener) that I had to get up and change to one of my older Calida gowns in the middle of the night. SO disappointing. I wonder if Calida could go back to the former fabric? I always felt that even though these are very expensive nightgowns, they were worth the money because of their unique softness and comfort design. Lucky for me, I have all my old ones and they don't wear out! But these two new prints are a total waste of money. Too bad, because they are cute prints. But who wants an uncomfortable sleep?
