Women's Best-Basic Jeans
A welcome find!
I was happy to come across these jeans in the catalog, for the following reasons:
1) I still prefer 'classic fit' jeans that sit at the waist - these are hard to find when most are below the waist. I did see classic fit jeans being featured in a major fashion mag this month, so maybe they'll become more available.
2) The narrow (not skin-tight) straight legs are the most flattering and my favorite.
3) Not so much stretch - most jeans feel rubbery due to stretch content & less like cotton - these feel natural.
4) Excellent price.

Looks good but disappointed
I really wanted 5% spandex and can no longer get jeans in that form of knit. I was disappointed in that feature with these jeans. Also, I need a 28" inseam and they are no longer available from Norm Thompson and I have to either have these altered at additional cost or roll them over at the waist which is not very comfortable. I probably will not order any more since the fit is not correct for me. They are a nice jean however.

Comfort with a Capital C!
I really like these jeans. They are comfortable and wash up beautifully!

Fit well, but doesn't come in Tall length
I was happy with the overall fit - finally, a classic fit jean with none of that hip-hugging nonsense that flatters NO ONE!
My only complaint - and the reason I had to return the jeans - is because I like a very long inseam (34"), so 31 1/2" was way too short.

Had to send them back. Impossible to wear that size

The jeans are very nice looking but for my own figure, they were just a little too tight in the thighs. Others with slender legs will love them.

Love the stretch. I intend to order at least one more pair.

Great fit quality workmanship
I ordered these jeans in petite size and am wondering why 28 inch length is concidered appropriate? I am 5' 3 1/2 " and they are too long. Seems like 26" or 27" would be more appropriate.
