The first one I ordered was made way too big...the sleeves were huge. Then I ordered one size down and it was WAY too small...so I reordered the same size again and it was made just right....crochet items vary according to who crochet them.

I receive lots of compliments when I wear it. Everyone thinks it is quite detailed and lovely. It is very comfortable to wear. Reminds me of crocheted afghan patterns from long ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SueChicago Love this unique sweater!
I'd eyed this sweater a few years ago, but thought it was too expensive, Then bought it this year when it went on clearance. Love the delicate crochet work and great colors. Have worn a few times and gotten many compliments. I'm 5'5", 135# and ordered the small. Fit fine, but the "3/4" sleeves are a bit odd. They are like a slightly short regular sleeve.

Great bolero jacket that matches almost any solid color dress, or pants outfit . Good for any season.

I loved the colors and look on the model but ithe style made me look like I am 100 years old! and it was way overpriced for what it is so had to send it back which now seems to be problem. On someone younger and tall and slim it prolly would be cute.

Beautiful. This sweater was not offered in petites. I took a chance with a Misses size, and the sleeve length extends to my wrists. That worked out well for me. It was pricey, but I am glad I made the investment.

I bought this in a plus size. My daughter thought this looked like a clown costume. Too many colors for a larger size, I guess.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LauraESQ Receiving Lots of Compliments!
I hesitated for 3 years to purchase this sweater, given the mixed reviews. Yet I kept admiring it each time a new catalogue came. The most recent catalogue offered a discount off a certain minimum purchase. I bought this sweater, and three solid-colored shrugs. I wore the Kaleidoscope sweater to work today, with a black full-coverage cami and black pants. I have gotten a lot of compliments! More importantly, I have't been experiencing most of what some other reviewers have complained about. For example, the button holes are not too big, I see no loose yarn ends, and the cotton knit does not feel rough and does not look cheap. I wonder if improvements have been made to the sweater. Also, the colors in the newer catalogues are closer to the actual colors than in the older catalogues. If I had to complain about anything, it's that the sleeves are too long. All the other 3/4 sleeve shirts and sweaters that I own (including those from Norm Thompson) are truly 3/4 sleeves. The ones on Kaleidoscope are more like 7/8 sleeves.
