Marion, they do have sales on these shirts. Be careful of the colored ones. Often the woven fabric part fades and no longer matches the knit. I only order the white. Alyce

My husband loves this long-sleeved shirt, He loves the band at the bottom also. He is a large man but does
not have a large stomach like some men, and it really looks nice on him.

BEST ANSWER: This item is a its low-wrinkle cotton/polyester ribbed knit. There may be minimal ironing required.

BEST ANSWER: I believe the question has to do with ironing the shirt (as opposed to iron in the water supply)? My advice would be: Forget ironing! This is about as good a shirt as I've owned when it comes to NOT NEEDING ironing -- at all! I've bought two of them, both long-sleeved, and neither has been touched by an iron. It just isn't necessary.

If you want to keep the sharpness of this type of shirt,I suggest you either wash it & iron The pockets. I have purchased at least 60 or more. They are short & long sleeves. When I get lazy I just send them to the cleaners. The shirts look brand new & my husband prefers the look of it. He will wear no other shirt.

I press the cotton parts of the shirt because I like the way that looks. The knitted part does not need it. I also put a crease in the sleeve. I love the way this shirt fits my husband. He always get compliments when he wears it.

My husband has sevral of colors of this shirt and all wash up beautifully. I place them in the dryer for about 3 minutes and then hang them to finish drying. Seldom to no ironing needed.

My husband hasn't worn it yet as it is too light for our cold winters. Certainly hope so as, on principle, I don't iron anything so I cannot answer your question one way or another yet!

THE KNITTED PORTION IS PRETTY MUCH WRINKLE RESISTANT IF HANDLE IN PROPER MANER. I PRESS COLOR AND CLOTH FABRIC AREA. HOWEVER,I AM OCD. Love the shirts! Has one on daily.

Does it have a cotton cloth look, not like a t shirt or knit?

BEST ANSWER: It is cotton fabric across the shoulders along with a wide strip across the chest and pockets. The collar is cotton fabric. The remainder of the shirt is a medium weight cotton knit. It certainly isn't tee shirt material. These are my husband's favorite shirts. He has worn some for over 5 years and they show no sign of wear or stretching.

It's more of a cotton knit look; not cheap-looking at all. It definitely doesn't look like t-shirt material. My Dad has worn this particular shirt for years. He has it in every color. It's a sharp-looking shirt and washes like a dream. Hope that helps.

What shirts do you have for a man who's 5ft 2inches and weighs 200lbs?

BEST ANSWER: The Shikari shirt is a favorite of my husband because of its comfort and colors. My husband weighs less than your husband, but this shirt is not fitted but rather roomy for comfort.. And the bottom band eliminates the worry of tucking in, thus allowing more cloth leverage. You could check the size guide and possibly order a size larger to encompass your husband's girth. If you can get this shirt to fit your husband comfortably, I guarantee he will be asking for more!

My husband weighs just 160 and the large fits him quite well. I would think the XL or the 2XL would work well for this gentleman. His problem, though, would be his height. Hopefully this will help..
