How long is the slit on the left side?

HI, the slit is not too long at all. It is not an Angelina Jolie slit if that was what you were thinking. It is larger than just a small break in the dress. I hope this helps. I could always go measure for you if you need me to.

I'm not sure what size to buy, does this dress run true to size? I'm 5'3 and 118 lbs and usually take a small but I do not want the dress to be tight! Many thanks for your help.

It hangs fairly straight so if you want it to not be tight you might want to size up. The material is a heavier cotton knit, not like a jersey, so doesn't give easily. The only problem might be a larger size will be bigger through the shoulders and neck opening. Depends on if you have larger hips and/or smaller bust how it fits. Order two sizes and return one as necessary.

I am usually a 2-4, PXS. I ordered a PS and was happy with the fit. I do not like a tight fit. If you are large chested I would go with a medium. Hope this helps, but nothing will help like trying it on. I have not found anyone's clothing sizes to be standard. Sometime a return/exchange is necessary.

I'm 5'3" and 130 pounds and bought the dress in a medium, which is my usual size. It is not at all tight. If your usual size is a small, I am guessing that you would be lost inside a medium, so I would just stick with the small. I hope this is helpful.

Yes, this dress is true to size. I have several and they are wonderful. I am 5'3 and bought petite for wearing with flats. I brought a couple in regular length for wearing with heels. They favorite summer dresses.

personally speaking, I think you should order Small. For your weight. And definitely petite if it is available. I ordered XL and it was way too big for me.

You should be okay with purchase of a "Small"--I'm pretty sure it will not be too tight-fitting. It's a nice dress, and I believe you will like it...

I usually wear a medium, and the medium fit me. It is a loose fitting dress style. I would think a small should fit and not be tight.
