BEST ANSWER: No. I bought the Polo as a gift for my mother, who normally wears a petite large. The petite large was huge. I returned it for a petite medium and it fits fine.

No, it's true to size. Keep in mind they've got Velcro-attached shoulder pads. If you take them off, the Velcro base scratches your skin. The pads look fine, though. It's one of my favorite sweater polos.

BEST ANSWER: I have several of these sweaters and all run on the large side. I go down a definite size.

BEST ANSWER: Loose, comfortable fit. The only one that seemed large was the beige colored one. I have several of these in long and short sleeve styles. I absolutely love them. They also look great after many washings.

In my opinion it runs large and fits loosely. Loved the fabric, but not comfortable with the oversized fit.

what about color hydrangea?

BEST ANSWER: Indeed, hydrangea. Hydrangea as a color--makes me think of the lovely hydrangea bushes in my aunt's yard. The blooms start out whitish pale green, then gradually change to either a pale or deep pink or a pale or deep blue. Finally, as their dying color, they offer us brown. So as a descriptor for a color, I'd have to say hydrangea isn't satisfactory. No wonder you were perplexed.

Why does the model have a scarf that covers the neck and shoulder area? It makes it very difficult to see the sweater.

BEST ANSWER: It isn't a scarf, what you see is the models long hair draped over her shoulder. The neck has a nice collar, making the polo a little dressier. You see the collar on the opposite side of the neck.
