BEST ANSWER: CARE INSTRUCTIONS: machine wash cold, lay flat to dry, warm iron if needed, do not bleach

reverse side is black with a very subtle checks

100% Polyester shell: 55% poly/45% nylon

BEST ANSWER: I checked the size chart when I ordered mine. I got a medium and it said 10-12. That's the size I look for if I order a dress. It fits me very well. I'm comfortable in it and always get compliments on it.

i ordered a L and it is a 14/16. True to size. I think a XL would be an 18, or an 18/2-.

BEST ANSWER: the hood can be described as almost accordion-pleated so it is very generous. It is light-weight so a wind can blow it off your head, but in a regular rain it really covers your head. Every time I wear this raincoat, I get compliments. It is very attractve

The hood is large, it has stayed up and my face is well recessed. I have used it few times, as I?m more of an umbrella person. I imagine it wouldn?t stay up in a wind, but most don?t without a drawstring.

The coat is beautiful but I would say the hood is more decorative--unless you hold onto it when it rains or the wind is blowing.
